Passport to Education

Through a unique and exclusive partnership with Boise State University, CapEd members can access online education at a substantial discount.

What is Passport to Education?

Passport to Education is a path CapEd members can take towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies or Applied Science. It is a monthly subscription that makes completing certificates and degrees affordable. Highly engaging concierge-level advising and innovative online courses provide virtually unlimited access regardless of your location or personal circumstances.

Degree Paths

There are two online degree paths individuals can take to receive their BS/BA in several areas of emphasis. Each degree path has a dedicated advising team to help you navigate the online degree paths. You may also be eligible for credits for prior learning opportunities, such as work experience and previously earned credits.

Passport 6

  • 6 credit hours per term
  • Monthly subscription rate of $425
  • Equates to an 18% discount, or an estimated $6,000 savings

Passport 9

  • 9 credit hours per term
  • Monthly subscription rate of $550
  • Equates to a 28% discount, or estimated $11,000 savings

Additional Funding Opportunities

The Idaho Opportunity Scholarship for Adult Learners awards eligible applicants up to $3,500 per year, for a maximum of four years, to help with the cost of your higher education degree.
